Summer/Year Round Employment/Internship Offers

Posted: 07/05/2020

Thank you for welcoming us into the Southampton community over the last four years.  Hopefully the below is a good way to give back.

We are in a position to be able to offer seasonal and year-round employment (part-time and full-time) at a living wage.  We can also replace summer internships for local students who may have lost them due to COVID (unlike most companies, we kept our internship commitments this summer).  We can be flexible as to the number of hours and timing (please see below).

We know that some people view a summer internship as at best busywork and at worse some sort of indentured servitude.  That is not the case for us.  Over the last decade we have overseen over 100 summer interns from Cornell University, NYU, Nightingale-Bamford School, Bronx Science and several other universities.  The interns work on open-book management, finance, marketing, operations and event management.  In fact, Kylie Monagan and Tanya Saxena (partners at Calissa) started as interns at Amali.

Four Week Internship
Candidates will participate in a daily conference call with existing interns and be given project-based work they can complete from home.  Minimum commitment is four weeks (approximately 15-20 hours a week) and a daily conference call.
